The impact of AD-Mad shows....
The Ad-Mad World Oh! have you seen that very cute
advertisement of ‘Surf Excel’ Blue?..... Yeah right, be it Surf Excel Blue or
Green , it doesn’t make a difference: the stains, don’t leave our clothes so we
better start liking them! And what about that advertisement of yummy Dairy milk
chocolate?.....yes perhaps, relationships but with our dentists! I’m sure we
all agree that it’s an ad-mad world. The
moment you’re watching your favourite saas-bahu flick, which is halted after
every ten minutes for a Twenty minute long commercial break, our mind begins to
zoom with all our desires. As for the status conscious men, they only want to
wear those classy Swiss Bells wrist watches and want to drive the dream car
‘Innova’ as they seem the many Amir Khan is zipping around it. YOUNG GIRLS
restrict themselves to dieting, idolizing, and the slim and trim models who
advertise beauty products. The result is the lack of essential nutrients in
their growing age.In their pursuit of becoming fairer, taller, thinner and
prettier, they ignore the home made and effective beauty tips that have been
traditionally in use since ages. Little kids now think that eating Dominos pizzas
is the ‘im’thing while eating ‘roti-sabzi’ is out and old fashioned. In our mad
rush to fulfil our desires of having all the luxuries in the world we trust the
advertisements and indulge into unnecessary and compulsive and discard even the
well functioning products only because they have now become old. I do agree
that an LG Microwave, two minute magi noodles and a fully automated Whirlpool
washing machine are time saving ,but at the cost of our pocket and our health.
Hence, we should not set TV advertisements lure us and instead we should be
aware as consumers. Because I think we human beings are worth it

Pictures speak
louder than words and when it is referred to showing empowerment through
access, nothing is far better than a good advertisement. Ad-Mad is a creative contest where the
contestants will create appealing advertisements, around the idea of access is
gender equality and empowerment.
Ad mad show provides a platform to the
students to showcase their creativity by
designing some good ads and radio jingles. They are given a chance to let their
thoughts flow and create the magic. It
is an Advertising making competition for engineering and B school students to
showcase THEIR CREATIVITY IN MARKETING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. It comprises of humorous & conceptual AD
presentation by the students.
GENERAL RULES
In this event the
participants will have to produce advertisement of product in a way which should
be appealing to audience. The general
rules that are followed are--
1.
Advertisement theme:
- 2. Technological Product. 3. Number of Participants in a team: - 3-4 4. Time
Limit: 5 minutes 5. No restriction on number of entries.
2.
The entire event will be based on
originality, execution of advertisement, logos, taglines, visual aids etc. Judges’ decision will be final and binding. No on the spot Entries
